Selva Azul Retreat was born from a vision of creating a sanctuary where people could reconnect with nature and their true selves. The founders, a couple who spent years traveling through remote, untouched corners of the world, found solace and inspiration in the vibrant jungles and tranquil beaches of Costa Rica. After a transformative personal retreat in the heart of the rainforest, they realized the healing power of nature and the need for a space where others could experience the same profound connection.
Drawn to a secluded piece of land nestled between the lush jungle and the Pacific Ocean, they knew they had found the perfect place. With the help of local artisans and sustainable building practices, they created Selva Azul—named for the deep blue skies and vibrant greenery that surround it. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create harmony with the environment, honoring the natural beauty of the land while providing a nurturing space for deep healing and transformation.
Now, Selva Azul Retreat welcomes facilitators, healers, and guests from around the world, offering a space for personal growth, community, and renewal. It's a place where the rhythm of the ocean, the song of the jungle, and the warmth of the people come together to create life-changing experiences.

Our private Jungle Bungalows offer a serene escape nestled within the vibrant greenery of the jungle. Each bungalow is thoughtfully designed with natural materials, blending comfort and eco-conscious living. These cozy spaces include a king-sized bed, a private outdoor shower, and a terrace that opens up to breathtaking views of the jungle, allowing you to feel fully immersed in nature.
Oceanview Casitas
For those seeking a touch of luxury, our Oceanview Casitas provide stunning panoramic views of the Pacific. Featuring spacious interiors with a queen bed, handcrafted wooden furniture, and large windows that fill the room with natural light, these casitas are perfect for those who want to relax in style. Each casita also includes a private balcony where you can enjoy sunsets and the gentle sound of the waves.
